Dr. Brooke Helling

Hello! I am Dr. Brooke Helling. I have over 20 years of teaching experience, but I still think that teaching is the best job ever! I love getting to know and making connections with my students and their families.

I call the St. Louis, Missouri area home but love to travel both near and far!

Experience

10 years experience as an elementary and middle school teacher, literacy, specialist, and administrator

12 years as a university professor of English and ESL

Qualification

Doctorate of Arts in English pedagogy, Murray State University

Graduate certificate in TESOL from Missouri State University

Graduate certificate in Educational Leadership from Sam Houston State University

Master’s of Education from Union University

Bachelor’s of Science in Elementary Education from Southeast Missouri State University

Certification

Texas: grades 1-8; gifted & talented; special education; ESL; and Principal certification
