FROM THE TEACHER
By the end of this course, you will no longer have to resort to drawing stick figures! Within this course you will be given a Proportional Formula for the human body, faces, and hands. The assignments give you the opportunity to refine your figure drawing skill in various projects, including story illustrations.
The main focus for this course is that of Realism – creating realistic-looking artworks. The assignments also give you the opportunity to explore various drawing techniques while using charcoal, watercolor pencils, ink, and oil pastels in your projects. In addition to drawing people and thinking more about how man is made in the Image of God, you will have opportunities to reflect upon nature in art through landscapes and animal projects.
If you love to draw and want to develop your ability to draw people and do illustrations, this is the class for you!
