Stacy Lasonde

Teacher

I am honored to be part of the NorthStar family. It is my privilege to walk with students as they journey into the world of American Sign Language and the Deaf culture.

I love learning about my students as well as teaching them. The unique experiences each of them bring to class is what makes this school so special!

Experience

I began my teaching career with NICS in Seoul South Korea teaching Kindergarten. Since then, I have enjoyed teaching deaf students in 2nd and 4th grades. I have also taught American Sign Language for the Healthcare Professional at the collegiate level.

Qualification

I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education as well as a Master’s in Deaf Studies from the University of North Florida.
