Middle School Navigator EVP
Description:
This class will help students discover the mission and vision of NSA and communicate clearly our school’s unique atmosphere by showcasing the students’ news writing. Students will learn the process of taking a new story or feature from an idea through research, peer review, editing, and finally publishing in NorthStar’s school newspaper, The Navigator.
Special Instructions:
*As part of the EVP program, this course will have a live class requirement once a week at a set time; please see the website for time choices. This live class will include teaching, discussion with classmates from around the world, demonstrations, questions and answers, and other aspects of a live classroom. Students will have weekly due dates and stay on a traditional coursework schedule.

The Navigator has a long history at NSA–come be a part of that history! Are you interested in writing articles, proofreading for a newsaper, or publishing? Join the staff of NorthStar’s student-run newspaper, The Navigator. This class will be a practical, hands-on, learning experience of working cooperatively with your fellow classmates to plan, investigate, interview, write, proofread, and publish.
