Katie Ahmadzai

Principal, Curriculum Support, & Teacher

My name is Katie Ahmadzai, and I am so excited to be able to serve teachers, students, and parents at NorthStar Academy.

My desire is for each student at NorthStar Academy to feel God’s love and to find joy in growing academically, spiritually, and socially. I have had the privilege of working at NSA since 2012 and have loved having a flexible schedule and also having the opportunity to interact with amazing students, faculty, and staff from around the world. My family and I currently live in northwest Arkansas and enjoy spending time with friends and family in our beautiful part of the state.

4 years teaching high school math and physics at International School of Kabul

2 years teaching high school math at Greene County High School, Greensboro, GA

Over 10 years of personal tutoring experience (math and science)

Qualification

BA in Mathematics from Lyon College with an emphasis in secondary education

MA in School Leadership from Baylor University

Certification

Certified in Secondary Mathematics by the State of Georgia

ACSI Certified in Secondary Mathematics

ACSI Principal Certification
