FROM THE TEACHER
Did you know that when you are creative, you mirror God as the ultimate Creator in your own small way? Art is just one of the many gifts God has given us to enjoy and the one that I’m excited to share with in this class. Students will create a variety of projects designed to encourage creativity and technical progress. Explore color, shape, and visual balance as key components of design and complete projects inspired by Pop Art and Cubism, paper art in the form of mosaics and paper maché, and more technical subjects including buildings and a self-portrait. Whether you already love art, or are just starting out, grab your materials and prepare to have fun!
