Description:
This course will reinforce the fundamental skills acquired in your American Sign Language 1 course. You will continue your journey by increasing your interpretive and communication skills of this visual language while continuing to explore the Deaf culture. Get ready to broaden your concept of communication through connections and comparisons to your own culture and community.

FROM THE TEACHER
Get ready to expand your vocabulary and become more comfortable in holding real-world conversations in American Sign Language as you journey through ASL 2. You’ll build on your strong foundation of grammar and vocabulary, and you will fine tune your facial expression, mouth morpheme, and classifier skills. Through engaging and interactive videos, live discussions with the instructor, and other practice opportunities, you will become more confident and comfortable with the structure of ASL grammar. The numerous activities will also focus on building knowledge and skills to help you gain insight into the Deaf culture and community. Get excited to grow your skills in this beautiful, expressive and conceptual language that you can use to share and show the love of God.
