Description:

ACT Math and Science is designed to prepare the student to do well on the ACT exam. The course will familiarize the student with the format of the math and science sections of the ACT and will teach the student testing techniques and strategies. The course will also include a comprehensive review of basic mathematics, algebra, geometry, statistics, and other math concepts needed for success on the ACT as well as all of the science topics covered on the ACT. This class is taught by NSA faculty but also extensively uses an outside online source so students can customize their practice and review, according to their individual strengths and weaknesses. Students will take several full length ACT exams for practice throughout the course.

Special Notes

Students must have access to a TI-83 or TI-84 or other ACT approved graphing calculator.
