Biology Honors EVP

Topics included here are cellular biology, genetics, taxonomy, microbiology, botany, and physiology.
This course is a part of the honors track, and intentional focus will be on the required knowledge and critical thinking and analytical skills to prepare a student to be successful in future upper-level and Advanced Placement (AP) courses.
*As part of the EVP program, this course will have a live class requirement once a week at a set time; please see the website for time choices. This live class will include teaching, discussion with classmates from around the world, demonstrations, questions and answers, and other aspects of a live classroom. Students will have weekly due dates and stay on a traditional coursework schedule.
Semester 1: September 10 - January 25 (Fall Break: November 19 - 23)
Semester 2: January 28 - June 7 (Spring Break: April 15 - 19)

Have you ever wondered why leaves change color in the Fall or why you can get a cramp when you run too fast? Me too! These are just a few of the questions we will be answering during our live class sessions! Students will be challenged as they uncover the mysteries behind living things in our world! We’ll explore God’s amazing creation through biology with fun, interactive activities and weekly live class sessions!
Join me as we discover more about the living things God created and dig a little deeper through our study in Honors Biology!
