The Story of the Bible: His Story, My Story EVP
Learning Resources Required For This Course Are Available For Purchase From Our Online Bookstore.
His Story, My Story seeks to provide the puzzle box cover, corners, and straight edges (overarching framework) to God's story so that those interested in understanding and embracing God's Story have a structure into which they can place the various pieces of the Bible they already know. Breaking up the Bible story into fourteen eras enables believers to understand the "big story" of the Bible so that they can remember and tell the story. Three major truths, like pulled threads in a garment, weave their way throughout all the eras of the Bible, tie the eras together, and tell His Story: God speaks, God acts, and God reveals Himself. Bible literacy and obedience to God's Word are paramount to the spiritual health of God's people. Curriculum written by Iva May. For more details: http://www.chronologicalbibleteaching.com/

From the Teacher
I have a question for you. If I were to ask you to put a puzzle together but did not give you the box with the picture of the puzzle on it or any of the end pieces…if I only gave you the middle pieces – would you be excited about trying to put the puzzle together? I do not think so! It would be very hard to navigate your way through the pieces and to make any sense of what the puzzle should look like.
This puzzle illustration can be a comparison to many Christians’ Biblical knowledge. Christians may know lots of different stories from the Bible but do they know how they all fit together in chronological order? Would you be comfortable sitting down to tell someone God’s story – the story of the Bible? Do you understand how and where you fit into God’s Story?
Upon completing this course, you will be prepared to share God’s story from beginning to end. How exciting! Life makes sense when we truly know our creator and His Story. When we are not viewing everything through God’s eyes, life will not make sense. We will misunderstand the meaning of life which in turn leads to wasting our lives.
Join me in His Story, My Story as we learn to navigate life in view of God’s Story.
