Economics (ECON400)

This course is designed to teach students the basics of economics and how economic systems work. It is also designed to help students make wise, God-honoring economic decisions of their own as they prepare to enter the world as independent adults. Students will develop research skills, budgeting and cost-benefit analysis skills, and written and oral communication skills, as well as become more Biblically literate.
Making economic and financial decisions can often feel like an overwhelming task! It is, however, a part of everyone’s daily lives. This course will simplify the field of economics and help you understand the basics. It will also give you an opportunity to test out how “real life” economic decisions – such as choosing a career or buying a house – can play out in your own life. We will also focus on how we can make economic decisions that ultimately glorify God.
