Elementary Bible: Image Bearers

Description:

This course is designed to help students go beyond Bible facts and stories and discover how the Bible should be the foundation of their lives. Students will explore the characteristics of God to see how they are to live as God’s image-bearers. Students will investigate God’s purpose for their lives. Students will begin to shape their biblical worldview as they compare and contrast other worldviews to God’s Word.

Special Notes:

Students will need access to a printer and a scanner, scanner app or digital camera in order to submit work for the teacher to review.

FROM THE TEACHER

So often we find our worth in what others think of us. Our appearance, our grades, and our popularity often determine how we feel about ourselves today. It is only when we understand what it means to be made in God’s image that we can see ourselves for who God wants us to be. God has given us a purpose. He made us in His image, so He is the one that determines our worth, not others and not ourselves. We will learn in this class that God has made us to be creative, to think, and to have emotions because He is creative, has an intelligent mind and emotions. I am excited to walk beside you on this journey of discovering who God wants you to be!
