Meet Our Faculty and Staff

Salvete! My name is Allene Vinzant, and I am excited to be teaching the Latin courses at NorthStar Academy. I have twenty-eight years of experience teaching high school English and Latin in both public and private schools and this will be my 6th year teaching at NorthStar Academy.

In 1993, I graduated from Asbury University with a B.A. in English/Secondary Education and have done graduate work in both Education and Latin. I earned an M.Ed. in Educational Technology from Belhaven University in 2020. God called me to be a teacher while I was still in high school, and I look forward to partnering with you as you pursue an education and seek God’s will for your life.
