Teaching is my vocation as well as my passion. Since graduating from college, I have had the opportunity to teach all levels from sixth grade up to college seniors. I love to learn. I find that teaching allows me to continuing learning as I interact with my students and the material.
I possess a bachelor’s degree in History from Mars Hill University, a Master’s in History from James Madison University and a Master’s in Science concentrating in Education from Kansas State University. I have lived in Lynchburg, Virginia for over twelve years now. I am originally though from a small town in North Carolina called Sanford.
20 years teaching on the secondary level and 15 on the college level. Also, several years as a high school principal and school administrator.
