Description:

Science 8 is designed for middle school students to gain the skills and knowledge they need to intentionally engage in the world around them through a Biblical Worldview. Students will be guided in their learning by instructional videos and other selected activities. To put their learning to practice students will conduct a variety of experiments and investigations using online resources or easily accessible household items. Students will create models and different types of presentations to demonstrate their knowledge. They will also have opportunities to engage with other students in the course through collaborative discussions.

Have you ever been curious to learn more about how the world around you points to a Creator? In Science 8, we will work together as scientists and engineers to discover and explore the amazing properties of the Earth, space, and living things. How will we do this? We will ask questions, learn from a variety of resources, and develop investigations to help us in our exploration. I hope you will join us! Science 8 will not only prepare you for future high school-level courses, but will also inspire you with the creativity, power, and intentionality of our awesome God.
